The AARB Developer Center explains how Appsinity developers should prepare submissions, maintain accurate disclosures, request appeals, download official badges, and integrate rating data into store or publisher workflows.

Official guidance

Apps and games scope

AARB is not limited to games. It currently covers Appsinity apps as well, including mobile apps, web apps, desktop software, games, media listings, tools, educational content, creator utilities, screenshots, trailers, and other submitted public material.

Transparent disclosures

A rating decision considers age suitability, content descriptors, interactive elements, data safety signals, monetization, online communication, and listing accuracy.

Developer duty

Developers must provide truthful metadata, lawful assets, accurate privacy details, and updated disclosures whenever app functionality or content changes.

Submission obligations

Developers are responsible for submitting accurate app and game metadata, privacy information, screenshots, trailers, builds, category selections, and content disclosures through Appsinity Studio or other approved Appsinity workflows.

Submitted content must be original or properly licensed.
Apps must not facilitate unlawful conduct or deceive users.
Descriptions and promotional assets must match the actual app or game experience.

Legal and rights checks

AARB may consider intellectual property ownership, malware risk, deceptive claims, privacy disclosure quality, payment features, user safety risks, and whether the developer has authority to distribute the submitted software.

Developers retain ownership of their submitted apps and games.
Publishing does not remove responsibility for third-party licenses.
Appsinity may request proof of rights, identity, or business authority when needed.

Appeals and reassessment

A developer may appeal a rating or descriptor when they can provide clear evidence that the assigned decision does not match the submitted content, app behavior, or AARB methodology.

Appeals should include version information and evidence.
AARB may uphold, revise, or escalate the decision.
New content or feature changes should be handled as reassessment, not merely an appeal.
