Developer Studio submissions should include clear titles, descriptions, categories, screenshots, trailers where used, privacy details, and build information.
Listings must remain honest in function and presentation.
AARB may rely on developer disclosures, store metadata, reviewer evidence, community reports, and platform safety signals.

Review methodology

AARB review is designed to be consistent, explainable, and proportionate. Reviewers consider intensity, frequency, realism, user control, context, reward systems, communication features, and whether users can encounter material created by other people.

The assigned age rating is the minimum recommended audience category, not a guarantee that every family or institution will consider the content suitable.
Descriptors identify the main content or feature reasons behind the recommendation.
Interactive elements disclose capabilities that may affect safety, privacy, spending, communication, or online exposure.

Changes after publication

A rating may be updated when an app or game changes content, adds online features, introduces purchases, modifies data collection, expands user-generated content, changes regional availability, or receives credible user or reviewer reports.

Developers should request reassessment before releasing material changes.
AARB may suspend or revise a badge if disclosures are inaccurate.
Repeated misrepresentation can affect developer account standing under Appsinity policies.
